If you were to give give me 5 specific situations,I think I would give you a "best jockey ever seen" for that situation.Overall,I would say the best jockey I have seen is PVAL.

Laffit Pincay doesn't make anyone's list??? Eddie D??? I personally liked Gary Stevens and cashed alot of tickets on Victor Espinosa and Alex Solis before they started riding for the bigger name trainers. Robby Albarado is very underrated in my opinion also. Just my thoughts.....

DaHoss...I agree with you...my point was probably over the top but I really feel JV has been helped much more by TP than vice versa. If JJ had the opportunity to have first call on those horses he would be exactly where JV is now...

Pincay , Eddie D. and Cordero , those guys would make monkeys of most the "good" riders right now.

by far and away, and i mean this as sincerely as is possible for a post on a message board, the best ride i ever saw was the ride the jock gave the first time starter named MOBO to a second place finish in the third race saturday at Santa anita.

he was trained by oneill, and if it werent for the fact that there was another oneill fts in the race, he for surely would have won with that remarkable ride!

of course, the charts wont tell you the whole story, so it's best to have seen it, or go to calracing to watch it.

Yes but Ruffian would be his most famous mount. Rode Onion when he beat Secretariat at Saratoga. Had this little issue in that he occasionally would set up betting coups
