![]() If you want to see something funny,then watch the ride Corey gave in the stretch during the race(9th race) before last Saturday's Santa Anita Handicap.He has basically decided to make sure he gets through the race,and makes it in one piece (so he can get his 60k check in the next race.)

Trust me,Corey only wants to ride if he has a 50-50 chance of winning.Most of those NY bred races are by definition "pretty open." He would love some of those stakes though(where a chalk keeps beating the same horses.) He was going back there last Spring(I THINK.) Somebody must have reminded him that you can't play golf year round in New York. |
