I just see her getting injured. She looks like a sore horse.

At this point you could probably say the field for the Oaks will look something like this:
Rags to Riches Magnificience Panty Raid Octave Cotton Blossom Christmas Kid Times' Mistress Folk was listed as a possible prior to the UAE Derby..not sure on her status now. With the additions of Riches & Magnificience the class of the filly crop this year is looking better than the past two years for the Oaks.

I do think Balance is a really lovely horse, she just didn't run a good race that day.

I say the 3 yo filly races at Hollywood are most likely the road Bruce Headly will take. He doesnt like to take his young horses on the road. Arson Squad and the "Cat" horse of his are recent examples of that. Although he did sell a % of the filly before this race. Not sure how much Hill and Dale will try and influence Headley to go for the Ky Oaks. He's quite stubborn, so i see her continuing her career at Hollywood. Time will tell..

Sore or short career or whatever, that was a scintillating performance. 1:08 flat for 6F?!?

I don't know that there is another filly in the country in the same class as this girl. And I don't just mean among the 3yo's.
I doubt Headley would go for the Oaks now but I find it very interesting to hear him say that she's definitely NOT a sprinter. He says: “Her forte is a distance,’ he said. “She’s sprinting because she’s just a runner. When she starts going around two turns, you’ll really she something.. I would have to say because of her workouts, none of my standout fillies ever worked like she did. . .not even Kalookan Queen worked that fast.” If he's right when he says that's when we'll really see something, this is about as exciting a filly as I've ever seen.
