Sheesh, when did hard races become a negative? Hard race didn't hurt Silver Charm. Didn't hurt Monarchos. Hey, War Emblem actually LOST a couple of races at FG before he shipped to Sportsmen's, and he wasn't eased. A horse NEEDS a hard race or two to get him fit and mentally tough.

amazing that anyone feels a horse losing by 1 1/2 is a better bet next time, then a horse who shows guts and determination and loses a photo!

After AGS wins, you'll see your G1 winner.

he will get beat because nobiz is a better simply a better horse.

Many 'better' horses have been beat.

I would find it utterly captivating if you had anything to offer as reasoning for Nobiz winning besides distaste for Any Given Saturday.

Neither Nobiz or AGS have the proper number of syllables to win the Ky Derby

AGS will destroy this field....AND NBLS will show once and for all that he is a 1 paced SLOW horse who is goofy as hell to boot! I firmly believe AGS is in the top 2 of his generation with Street Sense.

Mr. Foxworthy shall now make his fine selection for the Wood Memorial.

And he shall take as long as he pleases to.

yeah, lol, ask PG 1985 about his big bet on discreet cat. no racing ,missed the prep ,going the distance first time. nobiz, bilnkers on ,lugging in, looking around during crunch time. kid, don't go heavy on this one , i'll try to save you money. i tried to teach you about handicapping last week. not saying he won't win. (i like him too) but at 7-5 its not the right time to unload, use your head this time !

While I hate to agree with PG I think that today is the day for No Biz to break through.

looked ok too, impressed with sightseeing as well, a good race from him today-best of his career.

so, did AGS get enough earnings to get inside the bubble? earned 75k for the show. was it the plan, run good enough to get in the derby field, but don't get to the bottom of the horse? wish i had been a fly on the wall to hear the conversation to the jock before the race. AGS has never been my derby pick, and i see no reason to change that.

Word is out that No Biz is slowly going blind and the blinkers were meant to focus what is left of his vision.

With the help of seeing eye dog, and a cane, he just did manage to find his way around the inner path at AQU today.

He had a right to bounce a bit coming back from the fight he had with SS. Plus the quick turn-around. I think he's at about $177k in terms of earnings at this point. I think it should be enough.

I don't love him, but assuming Scat Daddy is the Pletcher favorite on Derby Day he has the chance to be the "other" Pletcher that gets away on the board a bit and is a good value play. Plus he's a great fighter (battled Tiz Wonderful and SS in great races).

He's certainly on my short list of contenders for Derby.
