Glad someone did good. I should have done a whole lot better (famous last words). I am a midling handicapper, but the world's worse bettor. Did you sit in John Ed Anthony's box again? I saw someone sitting there, but decided it must have been a family member, because it was only a single person and I knew you said you had a friend with you.

We went up there earlier and he was there with some people....and then one of his buddies was coming up for the last few races and he said we could sit in the box with him. But, I am really a railbird and I was surprised how easy it was to get a spot on the rail right at the finish line. So, that's what we did for the last 3 races. I got a picture of Curlin zipping past the finish line with about 8 lengths behind him.....and no one other horse in sight.

There was a pretty large crowd, almost 58,000, but the threat of rain and the gloomy day must have kept a lot of people at home because last year there was 70,000. I saw Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys owner. Pretty big guy. He looks like he could still play football himself.
