Where you actually at the Fairgrounds, or just watched races simulcasted from there?

I was at the Fair Grounds during opening weekend (Thanksgiving), and then I wrote from the Calder press box from that point on. My hometown is Miami.

Oh good Christ no.

I just get tired of these games of switching. Which apparently this is not. So I will apologize in as gracious a manner as possible. With one last answer.

Jesus!

I am me.

Based on my calculations, considering the popularity of horse racing, there are about 15 people in the world who know who I am. Why would anyone impersonate me?

I have solv-ed ze case.

I talked to Just In.

I asked him if he was really Arnold Rothstein.

He said he was.

That set me to thinking.

So I says....( to him)...

...Oh.

But aren't you dead?

He replied ....

...Why.. yes.....I am.

I hope we're all straight now.

I'm proud of the fine contributions I made to this potentially award winning thread.

Can someone please remove this entire thread? I keep getting emails alerting me to a new post and I don't like seeing my name in the subject line.

No way.. This is TOO entertaining to confirm or deny that you are THE Justin Dew..

Justin Case anyone is unclear...

But wait... This Justin.. Why would anyone pose as Justin Dew?

So you are convinced now, that it is, in fact, YOUR name...

Well, I WAS. But then someone started in with the "were you really at Fair Grounds" nonsense, and I was like, "Damn, maybe I'm NOT Justin Dew."

I guess there is no explanation for this thread. It wil have to go down as one of life's great mysteries. Like the role of the NTRA.

I'm with Morty on this train.. "This is Me" was the "Original" stickied thread and is the longest running on the Forum. It is one of the cornerstones of DT.. On the Derby Trail 'Mt. Rushmore' as it were. A living history of the origins of the membership base...

As Pope I now decree:

Justin Dew thinks he is Justin Dew.

I yam am what a yam --- Popeye

I am sorry Mr. Dew. Just had to clear things up. Had some other weird things going on with posters misidentifying themselves. You need to call your mom and dad and make sure they too know you are Dustin Jew... oops Justin Dew.

Sorry for the excitement folks. False alarm. But nonetheless amusing... and I am sure a relief that Mr. Dew knows who he is.

my bad... as they say on the blacktop.

You are right, please pardon my blasphemy. I got a little carried away. I'll put the over/under at 150 posts.
