You may be able to make muggy faces at hs kids and strike fear into them sir..
...but it won't work here in the wilds. Woodchucks should stay on the school grounds. |

I'm afraid The Gardener is a great example of why men should stay out of the teaching profession.
It turns you into a pu ssy cat. A mighty stupid one at that. |

I think this video sums it up.
you would be singing the national anthem followed by throwing a bag of doggie poop at an old lady. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g5y1kQPHlI One side appreciated and funny. The other mean spiritited. |

from other posters concerning Morton? It just completely escapes you? Or you just see it as funny? Even though Morton knows he actually upsets people with personal attacks. |

And when you put Morton on ignore without fail another poster is responding to something he has written and one has no idea where the response is aimed or what it means. So I await your answer. Im not kidding. |

Thank you Dr. Phil. HOSS. Some of these people actually meet each other. I have not. Do you not think some of the remarks might make things a bit uncomfortable? And so on a message board all rules go out the door. Lets just open it up like ESPN? |

Anything goes on a message board. What if someone you had dissparaged actually was able to somehow find you. I would not want that for the person or you. But hell, anything goes on a message board. No harm done ehh... |

Besides doctors, lawyers and cops, teachers seem to be in that elite group of professions in which it's members have the tendency to take themselves way too seriously.
Not that all teachers, by any means, have this tendency, but I have experienced far too many teachers that take a holier than thou attitude when confronted on something. For instance, when someone asks another person what they do for a living as a means of validating their position in an argument. Why would someone either ask or care about that when having an argument?? I mean, really, what if the target had said they are a shoe salesman? Would you deem their opinion null and void? Or, if the target says they are the Arch Bishop of Minnesota (or some equally meaninglessly impressive position), would you concede the argument? |

The owner of the board removed Morton from other spots... why? And if you dont see the correlation between empathizing with animals and humans I cant help that. You make an assumption that people are not hurt in any way since it is not physical. And if they are, they are weak. Just like the dogs that dont want to fight. Seriously, if you knew you were actually smearing a person and you knew they did not like it, you would not stop because they are weak. I dont care if it is a message board, some people take things personally, especially if you have stumbled upon some of the material that was typed. A different type of bully. So maybe Morton beats someone up with letters, and they beat him up with fists. Wonderful. People that pick on others when they know they have the upper hand, even on a message board... ya think that might indicate something? |

Yep. Clearly. I dont give a flying flip what you think about me or generalizations about teachers. I just have thougth ahead a bit and it seems that if people get together and meet each other it might be more pleasant if they did not have to stumble upon inuendo about one doing this and that to another. And yes it is clearly not good if I got seen in a bar drinking by parents of students I taught. It should not necessarily be that way but it is. |
