Morty, the diffrence is Washington had a frosh at qb. Granted, he has some physical talents but still young none the less. Very difficult going from high school football to playing a top big ten team(that does not mean much this year) I already stated that ohio state is a better team. But purdues offense can score in bunches. If ohio state plays man to man for more then 50% of the game purdue, will win. For OSU to win they need to be able to help deep with their safeties and allow their line and backers to control the run and get pressure on painter. If that happens, Painter will force throws and OSU will be fine.

Thank you for the accolades on the baseball pick. That conclusion of course was the result of many man hours of work.

God you're really pissing me off.

You also COMPLETELY forget the fact Purdue has a poopie defense and Ohio State will control the ball on these goofy guys.

They will get behind early and panic.

Ohios defense will eat them alive...anyway they want to.

No problem on the compliment...anytime.

You'll be right on target at the halfway mark.

Why do you think they have been dominant. They have played exactly one team in the top 90 and that was washington. Not exactly offensive juggarnauts there. Have you actually seen a purdue game this season. The first halfs of all the games have been great. Then the fat defense gets lazy and everyone throws up td's in the second half. I think its going to be a good game. Its a battle of two untesteds. Purdues offense has run over weak competition and ohio states defense has run over weak competition.

May I remind you....you massive mountebank...you.....that Washington barely escaped victory against USC?

Essentially you are saying good offense is going to beat very good defense.

Are you insane!!!?

I'm not saying purdue will win at all. But with the pointspread at 7, your saying a very good offense will get beat by at least 8. This is purdues season right here. Can't underestimate the home field advantage.

As for the cheap shot with washington. Yes, they only lost to Southern Cal by 4 points. But lets look at the week before, where they lost by 13 to UCLA who lost by a huge amount to the winless utah. In college football you can't use the, well we beat them and they beat them arguement. Every game is such a diffrent dynamic.

I am thoroughly at a loss now for what you are trying to say.

And you can use comparatives when they are used as I did. You said neither team had played anyone of value. Wash. is a team of some value...they are better by a good margin than any team Purdue has played.

I wish you would stop skimming my posts.

And you give too much to this homefield nonsense.

Ohio State caught Iowa in this almost exact same situation and time last year.......need I remind you what happened to the oh so EXPERIENCED AT THE SKILL positions team?

God what is your problem here sir!

YES.

But they don't part the sea for me......I like the Indians, too, but you don't see me predicting they will beat anyone in the playoffs.

It's simple.....you think Ohio is not a good pick at 7 giving.

I do.

You offer jibbersih in support of your hysteria.

I offer fine work in supprt of my sage assertion.

Again...NW and MINN were clipping away at 487 and 457 yards a game before playing Ohio.Neither came close to their averages.

MINN was AT MINN. and at night.

Purdue ain't gonna be a whole lot different....you can through go all the nonsense you want.....but Purdue has yet to play even an acceptable def.

You still try to say a perceived good off. will beat a proven VERY GOOD def....given the skinny 7 point head start.

You truly are insane.

Oh...lest I forget....Arnold Rothstein who you look to guidance for...ya might say....has agreed Ohio State is the team to take with the spread.

Now let's see your wiggleworm man to man defense disaster get out of that one.
