I am not very knowledgable about the Grateful Dead or Garcia for that matter.

I didn't like that he criticized Garcia after he died by suggesting he held the band back because of his drug problems. There was no band without Garcia.

Garcia was the Miles Davis of his genre.

a friend of mine already has a cd of the zeppelin show....... its a very good audiance recording, sounded pretty damn good to me.
