I notice the commish has heatseeker in his stable, maybe he thought the HGC was on the list, as well.

I spent about 20 minutes or so in the beginning and after I did all my picks, it did'nt save it... Then I logged back on the next day and it said to " make picks" with a different catagory...well I am thinking to myself "cool, we get to make a stable in each catagory "..not... Only after I submitted my final picks AGAIN did I realize what had happend... I had some really great horses in the first picks too dang it!

Oh well, I will just add another "pay to play" stable and hope it works out there.

Good luck to anyone else that had confusion as well or even if you knew what you were doing..lol

I think they must be having some issues with the website. I notice the vanity handicap is now off the list.

On the original list, the HGC and Vanity were not on there. People who picked early, of course, would not have these in their consideration. Then, later in the week, the game ADDED these races, when it was too late for the earlier people to make a change. I picked on Friday, and therefore, since those races had been added, I chose my horses, with those races in consideration, i.e., Zenyatta, Heatseeker, etc. THEN, on SATURDAY, those races were once again removed, because, they said, it was not fair for those who picked earlier (which is true, it wasnt).
But what about us late pickers? Screwed.
Either way, its not fair, and either way, someone gets screwed.
If those races were not going to be included, I would have waited until the first draft to add those horses, but instead, I have at least 3 horses that will be running, but not running in scoring races. 3 slots that could have been occupied by horses that WILL be running before the first draft.

They really messed it up, big time.

you would just be adding more horses to your stable, but can only have six active on race day

Permanent. But you will get to add more later. They will send you an e-mail notifying you. Just make sure you activate different horses in your stable if you know they are fixing to run. Some forget to do that and it ends up costing sometimes big points.

Number of actives goes up with each add period.

You'll get 8 actives after the first draft, and then 12 on BC day.

Sounds good, this might be great for this format. But too bad they may have this contest screwed up beyond repair already.

Not sure who is going in the Suburban, but have a feeling Circular Quay will be running. He's been working out at Belmont for the past two weeks, and previously was based at Churchill for the 2 months prior.

Hate to break it to you, but the HGC is not a scoring race. Read my post above.
