Again 1x4x6x8x8 = 600
"1 x 4 x 5 x 6 x 5 =$600. my bad." = 144 God aren't you supposed to know all ??? I'd ditch whatever I was using to do the calculation and download the dang calculator... |

if i box 3 horses in a trifecta, the calculation isn't 3 x 3 x 3. that would be $27. It's 3 x 2 x 1 = $6 for a $1 tribox. same thing with the structure of your super 5. i made a mistake in my original calculation and rechecked it when you posted. you have a single, followed by 4 selections in 2nd, 5 in 3rd, 6 in 4th, and 5 in 5th. |

the 8 selections you have in 5th place includes 3 that would be placed earlier in the sequence so in calculating the cost of the wager they're subtracted. i would try picking up a ordinary calculator (not the program posted earlier)and multiplying 1 x 4 x 6 x 8 x 8 and see what you get. |

Super High 5.JPGSemantics ???? So the calculator is wrong even though I did on 2 different calculators that were designed specifically for exotic bets. unfortunately NJBets doesn't offer the bet or I would punch it up.. Can someone else jump in here.

the calculator is right. it's a $600 wager. it got to the $600 by multiplying the actual number of individual $1 combinations. the calculation it did after you entered your picks was 1 x 4 x 5 x 6 x 5. try it on the calculator function on your desktop. |
