Before they changed the format and let you choose all the races on the day, I actually won this contest. Spring 2005. Nice little prize, $3000, and a trip to the 'real' handicapping of my choice. Mine for today:
Zion (only 1/2 length behind Terrain last out and also bothered)
Thorn Song (lone speed)
Wild Gams (in form, won it last year, and pace to set it up for her)
Windward Islands (drops out of G1s and G2s, can handle the distance)

Default I had a real miss....
Today, I really liked Winward Islands, then changed my mind and went to rail and Sir Lowry at the last minute. Of course then Winward Islands wins for fun, Bejarano's 4th. I should have had another 2 win day, still kickin myself!

One win and two close misses. I could have sworn the Driving Snow held on, but I guess our seats were just beyond the finish line and the angle fooled me.
