We're lucky enough to get all the NYRA replays on TV (twice every morning). I for one cant stand watching races on computers, but if you have no other option, then yes sign up for it. $10 a month is well worth it.

Believe me, we pay for these replays too. Our cable bill is all teh way up to $50 a month. Add Road Runner to that and we have $100 a month we pay to Time Warner.

Maybe I should move back home!

Well I hated to be the bearer of bad news but I thought I'd call Kev and let you guys know. It rained pretty hard here. The sun is shining and there is a breeze and its warm. The track should start out sealed and muddy and progress to good/fast throughout the day. I can't see it staying muddy the whole day unless Passero decides to have one of his lothed sealed track festivals.
Drives me absolutely ****ing crazy. Joe King is the best in the business and for years here he never sealed a damn track. You harrow it and leave it cut open and the wind and sun will do the rest. When I see those cement blocks dragging behind the tractors I wanna pull a Joe Pesci(Easy Money with Rodney Dangerfield) and leap over the fence and attack the guy. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to keep water sealed into and pushed down into a racetrack, none.

Mike...if I play the late 4, think it is safe enough for me to cap it as dry and fast?

I'd try for good/fast. But beware!!! Days like this often produce big biases and biases that change as well. While wet and sealed the track may play to speed or pressers. As it dries out(the slope of the track cannot be seen by the naked eye but it does exist) it always dries from the outside in. Makes the outside footing firmer and better and you may see horses catapulting the down the center of the track. Keep an eye on conditions and watch races even if you aren't playing them. Days like this are extremely tricky but can be extremely rewarding for those who pay attention and draw the proper conclusions about how races are flowing.

Yeah...thats why I really just plan on watching the early part of the card. If I don't like the way that it's playing, there is always tomorrow. I also want to see the scratches too, before deciding if I am gonna play.

You're right.
I'm not there to look at the track but the web site says "muddy sealed".
Will definitely change all day.

Kev-
Morning lines in races loaded with firsters are incredibly inaccurate. Have no clue what to expect, maybe even money or 4/1.

Violette does well in these types of races up here, hence the reason for 3/1 ML. No other reason.

Tim, i'm just going on the fact that you heard he can run, Mike confirmed he can run. Know what that tells me? 75% of Saratoga has heard that he can run. Hence....in typical NY wise guy fashion , he will be bet down

Your probably right. The guy who gave it to me wont hesitate to drop a few grand on it if the odds are okay.

With this type of steam you single him on the end of a pick three and pick four, if possible...
