I think he was retired, it was the first time ever a beagle won best in show.

good looking dog bigs. i have a rat terrier, i don't even think they're a recognized breed. if i wrote the description of the breed, it would certainly include the words neurotic and guilt complex.

lol alydar...i had a dog i named sheba in honor of alysheba. had a sham once too for that matter. female german shepherd...

I saw Rat Terriers on Dogs 101. They have races to the rat scent through little tunnels. Pretty interesting.

Aly enjoys pointing at lizards and squirrels.

Oh you never witnessed the Iron Sheik in action did you.
Thats when wrestling was pure pageantry.

And be thankful for that The Border Collie folks fought AKC recognition hard, but lost. Three generations, and show Border Collies have completely different looks and temperment than real Border Collies.

Fortunately, there remains thousands of "real" Border Collies, and only a few hundred "show" types.

Locally we had Pepper Gomez 'man with the iron stomach'. Guys would hit him in his pot belly and break their hands LOL. On another note I dated a girl from Denton TX who's family had a ranch near the Von Erichs (sp) sad story but they threw amazing cookout parties. Felt like I was in a scene from Dallas.
