The 1/2 to Tapit sold for 500k and was a Bernardini.. This book looks like it could be a bust. I think strong hands will jsut keep and race there well bred stock rather then give it away.

Reserve Not Met - the owners set a low amount that they would take for the horse and if that is not met, they take the horse back.

A cribber is a horse who chews wood and/or bites it and sucks air (also called a windsucker) Europeans believe that mares can pass this onto her foals so they generally will not buy a cribber.

Several years ago, I worked this sale and some guy screamed at me for telling people who were looking at his horse that she was a cribber (you have to disclose this) because he thought I was trying to keep her from being sold. Obviously as you can see, the sale makes it well known who is a cribber and who is not.

RNA is Reserve Not Attained
Cribbing is a habit that horses have where they grab a hold of something like a stall door or water bucket and chew, while gulping air. Cribbing is believed by some to be a learned habit and they wont have a cribber in the barn. Cribbers often have gastro-intestinal issues and are sometimes hard to feed.
