I still think NO is the team to beat, despite last week. It is so wide open now though

Sure is, we just need to get the O-line and some of our defensive blitz schemes dusted off and we should be alright. Losing Jamaal Jackson at center may hurt us unless Nick Cole can jump in at center and play as well as he did last year at guard. Plug in the next man and keep the train rolling.

Who's the sig from? I forget.

Michael, the Eagles might have the most talent/depth that they have ever had on offense during the McNabb era. Unfortunately the defense might be the weakest it has during that same span.

I'm of something near the same thought. As explosive the offense has shown to potentially be, the defense has been at times just as porous. I can't pull the 'decimated by injuries' card, because it's football, every team is hurt/banged up. However, in a few instances, they've shown glimpses of being a cohesive/ball hawk-ish unit. They haven't had a consistent linebacker corps this year and it shows. The secondary, for them to be playing as well as they are after replacing Dawkins with Sean Jones/Macho Harris in the off-season, is a feat in itself. With the nonstop motor up front in 58, and his interchangeable mates besides him, pressure is most likely on it's way.

I think they pull it together, Andy and co. focus more on shoring up the one glaring hole on the defense rather than the offense, and they'll "get it fixed".

I thought you were already put on IR. More importantly did you ever make it to see that hot girl the other night?

eh they are weak. I have great eye-hand coordination but TERRIBLE eye-foot coordination. Hobbling around on my left foot is very difficult. Its actually fairly comical for others to see.. especially when I have to go up or down stairs.

A big THANK YOU from the city of Brotherly Meteors. We're in the drivers seat now, in a year where even I thought it'd be tough to take down the top tier NFC'ers. NO and MIN look as mortal as ever heading into the playoffs, but I won't be fooled again with that type of crap, esp after last years ARI team and how they looked heading into the post.
Who would have thought after the Eagles were 5-4 and the Cowboys sucked and the Giants were rolling that it would have turned out like this??

All hail Action Jackson!

You can call it hatin' but the fact is the Eagles almost blew a 17 point lead to a bunch of ho's. The Bucaneers are playing better football than the Broncos at this point in the season.

There is no way they win against Homo and Company

Operative word being in bold. Just like the Pats being 19-0 two years ago if it werent for Samuel dropping that pick of Eli. Momentum shifts happen in mostly every football game played. You, being the bettor that you are, should know this more than anybody. It's not Andy's fault that Harris, Macho got the penalty for hitting a defenseless receiver, pinning them back on the goal-line. If Demps or Hobb's were healthy, it would've been one of them returning the ensuing kickoff after DEN scored instead of Macho. You can maybe pin the fact that he had a rookie who was flying around at safety back there returning a kick. Reid's never been one to keep his foot on the throat of a team who they've amassed a comfortable lead against.

As for there being no way they beat the Cowboys this week, I hope you use better judgment when it's time for the fazoles to be laid on the line.

If they play like they did against Denver they will lose by 20+.
