Your tips are as worthless as his if their basis is backstretch touting as opposed to any legitimate handicapping information or worthwhile changes that are going to positively (or negatively) affect an upcoming performance.

There are NO SHORTCUTS to doing well wagering on horses.

Please double check the 8th race, I think #5 Daveron 6-1 is actually #6 in the program.

Thanks as always, and BOL today!

tfm, serious question here, why do you care if a horse is gelded or not? This seems to be a hot button for you and I can't understand why.

You're a gambler (at least you seem to be one), who gives a **** if a horse has nuts or not as he crosses under the wire?

Because it's not necessary in most cases. Today, for example, Ward had two baby 1sters in the 9th at SAR: BOTH geldings. Ward is obviously from the good-old-boy school of race training. He's carrying on for G P Odom, who'd geld them before they even got in the barn. I think there are better ways to go about things; more humane ways. You don't unnecessarily geld your colts; you teach your horses to run INSIDE, because this is EASIER for them; and you have your jocks ride them that way, because it's the HUMANE thing to do. There's a certain grace and art to this sport. If you watch enough races, you get a sense of what's 'natural' and what isn't. A result of this is a low tolerance level for IDIOTS -- be they jocks or trainers.

Hope this clears a few things up for you.

one of the reason why i have cut back my vertical wagers, i'd rather get nosed out of a photo then to have to stomach a return thats significantly less then my wager. such a kick right in the pants. So, not only do you have to beat the game, but also find prices, and hope not a lof of people have the same tickets as you, last couple months have made me realize how many things need to be in place in this game just to break even, let alone make a profit. but, "i digress"

having gone off on my rant for the AM, better luck today and this weekend steve
