Had to go back to May 18, 2009 to find a post you made about horse racing. Old Baltimore? You mean the team that won the Super Bowl in 2001? I'll take that, thanks.

It was very evident the 3 times we played the Cowgirls. We were not a very good football team last year. And this year we are even younger. I agree Kolb might have growing pains, and even cost us a game. I'm perfectly fine "growing" this season.. though I do still expect us to be a playoff contender. I'm really excited about Kolb and his future and not going to miss McNabb even if we go 7-9. We werent going to win the Superbowl this year with #4 or #5. we are too young and are O-line is really suspect. I'm hoping I can eat these words, but I have realistic expectations. But the O-line is easily the weakest link on the team. And if Kolb gets hit hard every time he drops back to pass, he will REALLY struggle (and so would anyone). I have 100 times more confidence in Kolb than the O-line. Stacy Andrews is garbage. He should join his brother on the Giants. If Eagles fans use the 2010 season as a base to "missing McNabb".. than Eagles fans are even dumber than what you all already think of us. It would be like Packers fans using 2008 to judge Rodgers and missing Farve.

Not basing it on preseason. Its been 2 years since brady's injury and yeah your right preseason is about staying healthy. Regular season is about winning and I know the pats will be doing that, your eagles after the pack rips them up in first week, will be thinking why did we get rid of mcnabb? Stupid I don't need to post on horses just like to read your witty comments! Bring on the regular season!

McNabb never won it for me.. if Kolb doesnt than its no difference. Its exciting to have a change, and a change that the Eagles players and organization feel is for the better. Its exciting to have that potential. Kolb is exactly the kind of guy you want behind center. No nonsense, accurate, and a good team guy. You wouldnt know what it feels like to get close and choke all the time. I'm not going to miss #5.

By all accounts LT has looked fantastic in preseason. I know it's tough to gauge a whole lot from preseason (unless you are a Pats fan) but he's a pretty solid backup. |

One HUGE difference that we'll see is that Kolb will get rid of the ball when under pressure, whereas McNabb tried to extend the play with his body strength, almost always shrugging off first contact. That was my biggest peeve with him, instead of unloading the ball just before he is rushed out of bounds, he'd hold onto it and take a 4 yard loss, then laugh it off.
