Wonder why, with all the irrefutable proof out there some scientists resorted to faking data, creating what is known as climate gate?

The recent interviews done with the yahoos stuck in Antarctica gives me some understanding and theories.

19 degrees, no wind feels wonderful. High 30's this w/e makes a frozen 7 mile long, 150 ft. deep lake a playground! Suppose it's all relative.
