No Pondarosa Miss? That's too bad.
I have always loved this guy and so, no matter what, will have to do a small, sentiment-inspired wager along with whatever else. Thanks for posting the field! |

Playing around with using my guy Who Shot Thebarman, Our Ivanhowe, Preferment and Hokko Brave (with Prince of Penzance underneath somewhere merely cause I like him) so for now, just a little win bet on my good boy who is at 33/1 on the morning line here. He'll top any and all of my wagers, period.
Would be thrilled if good old Red Cadeaux won but alas... cannot use him here. My big question mark is whether or not to use The United States underneath somewhere and what to do with Fame Game. Happy Melbourne Cup! Good luck Kitan, Coachie, Ed and all. I'm also back with a favourite of mine, Gust of Wind. 35-1 on a true stayer who just ran 4th in the Caulfield Cup and is in at 112lbs is too much to pass up. Fame Game will be tough to beat.
24/3,4,11,14,15,16,17,20 are my numbers. GL! |

Nice MMSC. I wish i'd got on this train. I dropped $80 in $0.20 pick 4's and Supers and they all died on the vine. I'm really happy for that Michelle Payne. What a huge race to win.
I can't believe you missed the race. IMO, it kinda puts our big races to shame. |

Thanks guys and yeah it SUCKED missing it! Very happy for all connections. Always knew he'd have a really good day but did not expect this. I had a whopping five bucks left in my account and thought I will be pissed IF the impossible happens and that's why the last minute bet. Whew!

"With his life now stable I want to pay tribute to Red Cadeaux the racehorse. He will not be remembered for his win record, but every other aspect of his profile is simply astonishing.
“Three continents, eight countries, five Melbourne Cups, the highest earning British racehorse ever and only an agonising whisker sky of becoming the first to break the £5 million barrier. We think he has covered roughly 175,000 miles by road, sea and air and he has barely turned in a poor performance over the last four years, the majority of which he has spent away from Newmarket. “He is a tough, durable and a hardy trier but he is relaxed enough to travel and a kind horse to boot. http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/s....aspx?id=84206 ...and on Precedence...
