I’m sure they go back a long time. I know Pedroza has been working horses in Kentucky, maybe for Ward. Remember Ward was a jockey back in the day also and has been pretty loyal to a guy like Julio Garcia, who he still has ride some of his horses.
Not to mention the price is a lot better if Martin Pedroza is up instead of Irad Ortiz
