Getting close now... Anyone else planning on going Saturday AM to watch horses workout?

Think we are going to take the kids and bring breakfast.

Isn't the Carolina BBQ setup over by the simulcast center?

Is that the best place to say hello to Mr. Byk?

He's always at the main stand directly behind the center of the carousel which I guess is considered the simulcast center. Beware if he's wearing his ninja black chef suit and approach the quarter pole with reverence and w/o a pen in your hand.

Steve...being your my agent and all....have you set up the appropriate time slots for my autograph sessions? I don't want my golf or handicapping time to be interfered with.

Hooves has you set up at a table in front of Sumwon's stall. We had to make some concessions and you'll be handing out peppermints in addition to signing. Oh, and making sure everyone washes their hands.

Thanks. Looking like a great day Sunday, especially if Street Sense runs.

If there's a DT meeting spot of sorts that day, love to meet everyone.

I doubt I'll get a chance to make a second trip until we head up for Travers week.

This is my first visit, so PLEASE, can I get advice about how to get clubhouse seats, see the training track, whether or not to go to the breakfast and tours that I read about on the Toga site? What are the best parties after the races?

Also, where's everyone meeting up? This will be my first time meeting anyone, except Genuinerisk, so I won't be able to just recognize anyone.

Thanks for any advice and help.
Breakfast Buffet is OK (I'd make reservations if you can). Best view of the horses in the morning though is bringing a breakfast and taking it up to an owner's box and watching the works from there.

I'd call to see if there are any seats available. Worse case, if you have to go Grandstand, the view is still pretty decent and the area isn't too badly crowded.

yea that's pretty much the meeting place and then most scatter throghout the park. Steve can point most of us out and the DeeTee Stables and DerbyTrail hats will be a sure give away.

If he's going to be there tomorrow, make sure he calls one of us... I haven't seen you guys since the Tampa Bay Derby. Hope his filly runs huge.
