As far as FA's performance goes I'm very nervous that something went wrong. I ceratinly am hoping that he was short or that it just wasn't his day but that race was way below anything he would run. I just hope that he emerged ok and sound.
Thought Invasor was good and Sun King as well. Was hoping Sun King would run by but hes getting pretty frustrating in those Grade One photos.

Mike-
Given the fact that Pletcher said he wasnt going to be 100%, why wouldnt you think he was just short? Maybe he just didnt get him ready, although I just dont understand why a trainer of his ability cant get his best horse ready for a race they were targeting since last year.

Short can be interpreted in a variety of manners. He wasn't speaking of the horses physical health but rather that he had only had one race while the others were in form cycles.

all i've found so far regarding flower alley is they say he tired, and todd pletcher says he doesn't know what went wrong.

so now what? run him back in the woodward? or train him up to the jcgc and then run in the bcc?

i guess we'll have to wait and see...
