Well, I am mistaken about their goals. I thought a guy making over 20 mil a year would be expected to be a difference-maker, but he's just another high-priced bat brought in for more fire power. Yanks keep lowering what they want done in return for 20 mil a year.

Well it's better than Fantasy League (with nothing on the line.) There's always this game for those who don't like to bet games of skill:

I just think he thought it's easier to piss away money than to have to build something.

You are kind of a bag-Carrier for the stars, but I can't say that's the worst strategy in life.

They want to buy a WORLD SERIES, and it can't be done. You must have some young a-s-s kickers of your own.

It could be done, you just need to buy the right players.

Stop crying already. You didn't put out an opinion. You acted like it was some fact, because you think you're some insider. It's a joke and myself and many others called you on it.

never said it was a fact - it was a personal opinion

and to think the 1st injury had nothing to do with what happened later on is nonsense - everything had to go perfect for QR after the Fl derby for him to make it to KY - that's they way i formed my opinion

Where are all the Yankee basher's? No post's since the end of April.

Oh that's right, they are winning now so the Yankee haters disappear. And that Texeria guy is just a terrible, no clutch player.

Amazing!!

Exactly, that's my point. The Yanks were being bashed in April, just having a little fun.

What could you say, maybe Gales was a bit premature in calling the guy a bust 4 games into a 8 year contract.

hay i'm glad he is hitting , for those that don't think a-rod is worth what he is worth well , will leave it at that

the bottom line for the yankees and me as a fan is that nothing short of a world championship is a failure , winning a round in the playoffs or getting to the world series and not winning will be a failure - we'll see what happens in Oct - right now it looks like they will get there in some form , what they do or what Tex does in the big spots will determine if he wins over the fans or not

One thing that has to be suprising to all is the DEFENSE the yankees are playing. 17 straight games tonight without an error. Thats either a record or close to it.

I didnt like the way this team was put together and i still dont think a championship is going to happen. But looking at the defense and the come from behind wins, this is becoming a rather likable team.
