I do agree that Lep is better and more consistent on the turf than Lezcano...and I'm a huge fan of Lezcano. The frog is just one of those jocks I can never catch. Anytime I bet a horse he is on, it seems like I get one of those rides where he is just a touch too cute trying to time getting up at the wire...only to lose by a head. He used to drive me insane. |

I mean, it's really time these guys started taking their jobs more seriously and put in some significant time watching races. |

If Leparoux has a flaw it's that he's overly patient at times. Have you watched the Regret again? It's a gem from Albarado, who I know is one of your favorites. NT |

I would appreciate a 1000 word essay from Drugs on the strength of German racing.

I haven't watched the Regret; and I won't. It's a particular 'type' of race that never yields predictable betback results. (It's similar to the way that all the cyclists that finish with the peloton get the same final time for the race.) I do know, however, that the winner is not a horse I want back. From the looks of the chart, there's really nothing that Albarado could have done (in the conventional sense that almost all jocks ride) to win that race --- he was going to get gobbled up by the flow inevitably. |

I wouldn't throw out the Canadian horse. House of Grace is a terrible bet at her M/L or under. The race appears to set up for Bay to Bay regardless.

Does she always have to draw the far outside post?

The inner is tricky for the deep, deep closers. They always seem to just run out of time, one or two more jumps. I'm thinking stalker, closer to the pace type......Perfect Shirl, Johnny V riding for Attfield, not Pletcher. Price should be right. Just a thought.

Ramon Julian Javier Alan Kent Honestly, I dont care what order, maybe Ramon has the edge, but its really not by much. The first 4 of late might have seperated from Kent latley, but he is still capable. |

Lake George
The German Fiily can "fly" a true MILER. The only question is if she can carry her speed a 1 1/6

That's who I am playing. Her dam has produced some real monsters and Attfield has a lot of strong ROI angles in this spot. Hard to gather much from her turf race because she may not have beaten much, but she did it the right way.
