I hope if you ever have a horse in the Derby someone like me was in charge of how splendidly you were treated.

Ditto for Del Mar. It's palpable.

you just put me on a Steak and cheese from dimino's. it was awesome. Half a block away Beachmont Roast Beef is the best there ever was. Big Beef all around melts in your mouth.

What are the owners going to do now? Boycott the KY derby and take their horses to the Ohio Derby where they are treated "right"?

CD has a lock on the most prestigious Horse Racing Event in the country and its the most sought after race for any TB owner. Just to even make it to the derby, CD probably feels its a privilege and owners should pay homage at the feet of CD and not the other way around.

Exactly. They are going to go, bitch about how disrespectfully they are treated, and come back again if the happen to be so fortunate.

I think the point is that it's ridiculous that it comes to that. 30K horses born each year, and out of that 20 make it. The owners ought to be treated like friggin' royalty, if only for the day.

right next to beachmont T. I guarantee it's the best Roast Beef you ever had. Kelly's can't touch it. Their Lobster rolls rule the planet though. Bianchi's pizza on the beach is in the same league as Santarpio's and Pizzaria regina
