PAT PEREZ -20 AFTER 2 DAYS of the 5 day tournament(usually takes 30-35 under to win.) I got to see odds on this here tournament. Nothing against him, but he is 10 inside.

Looks like a 2 man race today Scuds. Perez got it in him to make up the 3 shots?

I doubt it. Truth is, you don't have to win in this sport. 1st few losers do better here than in horseracing. You can tell that a bunch of slow white dudes started this sport. This sport needs their star back(I mean like soooon!!!) I been wrong a whole lot this year. Maybe I've finally put Perez into the Winners Circle. Be nice to see him break through. Once he does, you would think he could win 2 a year(no lack of talent.)

Be interested to see how this rookie from Wake Forest (Webb Simpson) performs today. Finished top 10 last week in his rookie year debut and looks to have another good week. Kid is supposed to be a serious player. Good to see Merrick playing well early in the year too.

Yeah, on the 10th, after he hit his 2nd ball into the water, she said "now, we're gunna make it a sleeve."

"GIFT"

MERRICK=Choke City

Stricker= doesn't shock me that he blew up. Atleast he kept together enough for a T-3RD. Perez gets the win, and everybody could use a gift once in a while.

Missed 3 straight makeable putts on the last 3 holes, and that was while getting the biggest break ever (when his tee ball on a par 4 was headed towards complete hell, and hit the side of a drainage ditch, went directly back into the fairway.) See what I'm saying? They were totally unable to get any pressure on Perez. MERRICK N' STRICKER CHOKED badly. See, Merrick had a putt on the 18th that would have forced Perez to get a birdie on 18(for a win.) This is the hole with water between them, and the green. Berganio hit it into the water 5-6 years ago against Lefty. Somebody hit it into the water back in 2003 (giving the win to Weir.) It's a good final hole. That shot from the fairway would have really tested Perez. WHEN THE GUY DIDN'T BIRDIE 18, IT MEANT PEREZ JUST NEEDED A PAR(5) TO WIN. So, he hit it from the fairway to about 2 feet from the hole(big difference in pressure.) Merrick had chances, and choked on every one. See, Perez has a choker coughing it up right beside him. Then, the challenger (he sees one hole ahead of him) starts missing every big putt(hanger.) Was weird final round. Nationwide players could of done better than these 3. Two-glove Tommy could of outplayed them.

Was rooting for him. Beljan is annoying. On another note, yesterday's back 9 is why I'm not a Mahan fan.
