![]() I never add a horse here without confirmation but just this once, I will.
Everything I've read... it's safe to say there's no way he made it. His name was Namjong Sky and after a few seasons in HK without a win, he got three in a row. Well 2.. he was DQ'd in one race. He had been off since January and broke down in a barrier trial the other day. His jockey, Zac Purton, informed the HKJC he won't be going to Australia afterall as he's apparently still in pain from the accident. Like I said I've never made an addition here unless it was confirmed but just the wording in certain articles... it's pretty much alluded to so he needs to be here. Good bye, good boy. His final win... http://www.hkjc.com/english/racing/r...2008&raceno=02 Rest in peace. |

![]() Quizzene...
Quizzene killed in road accident near Lambourn By Rodney Masters3.48PM 14 JUN 2009 QUIZZENE, a winner for both Mark Johnston and Alan King, was killed in an accident near Lambourn on Sunday in acollision with one of 50 motorcycles travelling through the village as part of organised tour. The seven-year-old, who joined Alastair Lidderdale last month, was being ridden on a track behind a hedge at the side of the road, when he was startled by the wall of sound from the motorcycles. He unseated his rider and bolted onto the road, where he was stuck by a motorcycle. The grey gelding broke a leg and was put down. Quizzene's rider and the motorcyclist were said to be shocked, but otherwise unhurt. http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse...nt/203345/top/ |

![]() The JRA announcement...
http://jra.jp/news/200906/062301.html From BH... Agnes Tachyon, son of Sunday Silence, dies at 11 By Alan Shuback Agnes Tachyon, the leading sire in Japan in 2008 and the best son of Sunday Silence to stand at stud, died of heart failure Monday night at Shadai Stallion Station in Hokkaido at the age of 11. "I am shocked into silence because his death has come so suddenly," said Shadai owner Teruya Yoshida. Out of Japanese 1000 Guineas winner Agnes Flora and a half brother to Japanese Derby winner Agnes Flight, Agnes Tachyon won the 1 1/4-mile Satsuki Sho, or Japanese 2000 Guineas, in 2001, after which a bowed tendon put a premature end to his racing career. Sent to the Yoshida brothers' Shadai Stallion Station, he sired the outstanding filly Daiwa Scarlet, herself the winner of the Japanese 1000 Guineas as well as the 1 9/16-mile Arima Kinen, the 1 3/8-mile Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup, and the 1 1/4-mile Shuka Sho, all Grade 1 contests or their equivalent. His best son to date is Deep Sky, the winner of the 2008 Japanese Derby and the NHK Mile Cup who will run in Sunday's Takarazuka Kinen at Hanshin. Agnes Tachyon is also the sire of Japanese 2000 Guineas winner Captain Thule and Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup winner Little Amapola. * * * No name yet... http://kdrv.com/page/131920 * * * David Fowler-Wright... http://www.drf.com/news/article/104898.html * * * Evil Repent, 2 years old, at Emerald... |
