The point being Lebron is the GOAT.

About the only benefit of being a Knick fan is that they have the best TV guys by far in Breen and Clyde Frazier. There are some brutal analysts out there.

I thought you were going to say that you have some decent young guys in Shumpert and Hardaway. I would want no one else on that roster, no one. Not even Tyson. He is turning into a big baby, and he never developed any type of offensive game.

Hardaways last two games...
12 for 22. Average of 17ppg. Two Knick wins.
Being around Melo though, no good for this kid.
He has had a total of 2 assists in those two games.

Best PF in the game, but we have to get you to start learning his name...Aldridge lol. Your Knicks fandom is showing with all the Cole references in this thread.

Big game tomorrow night, who you got? Miami is minus 4. I think Lebron and Miami make a big statement. Lebron especially has done a lot of talking latley. About a week ago he said to watch him vs Washington and promised to go off. He did not do much and they lost as a 10 point favorite. Then he talks about how KD gets more shots then him, then today I read he is requesting a sit down with the new NBA commissioner. And back too a few weeks ago, he was saying how Wades knees are a big issue. Felt to me like a built in excuse. I know its a regular season, but I feel like its a big game for Miami.
No lose situation for OKC. It doesn't mean much if they lose without Westbrook, but if they win it would be nice of course. They have played so well lately I don't think a loss would bother them much.

One thing is clear, the gap between the best two players in the world has narrowed considerably.

Big Country lol. I saw him play opening night against the Sonics up in Vancouver his final year in the league. Him, Ostertag and Cherokee Parks and George Zidek in the same draft...talk about a center heavy draft.

That would be A LOT of water. Big Country was miles and miles better than Cole Aldrich will ever be.

Between the 3:00 mark of the 3rd and the end of the period, Howard went 10-14 and the Rockets extended a 2-pt lead to 8 at the end of the quarter.

I didn't watch until the 4th. Seemed like it at least got them back in the game. Jones looked worse than Howard on the line.

I just don't know what to think of the Spurs. Every time I watch this year, they don't look very good. But they sure beat up on the bad teams.

Jones has been a pleasant surprise, but he is a disaster at the line. Howard, of course, missed two FTs inside the final minute that would have gone a long way towards putting the game away. In fairness, you could tell he was exhausted given the extended minutes and 9 intentional fouls.

I don't understand the Spurs either. Their first two losses to the Rockets were in the Rockets' type of game. Last night's was uglier. They were horrible in the 2nd half of their last game against the Thunder, and the same is true of Sunday's Heat game. I want to think they're over the top, but I fear they'll get their act together when it matters.

That being said, I don't think under any circumstances will they win a 7 game series with OKC.

I dont think your giving your team a fair shake here. Everyone being healthy, that would be a war with OKC and Im not positive OKC wins it.

I dont get the hand wringing about the Spurs? It is January not April. They are missing key players like Leonard, Green and Splitter. They often rest their best guys by not playing them or playing them less than 30 mins a game. Popovich is clearly not squeezing on them too hard, he does this every year. When the playoffs come Duncan and Parker will play more than 25-30 mins a game and Patty Mills and Corey Joesph wont be putting in 28 mins and 22 mins.

It isnt as though they have to figure out how to fit the pieces together in the regular season.

Plus PG1985 hates their chances which basically pencils them into the Finals

Houston will be underdogs to get through the Clippers in the 1st rd.

If it ended today
OKC vs Dallas
SA vs Golden State
Port vs PHX
LAC vs Hou

I'd take OKC in 5
SA in 6
Port in 5
LAC in 7

Good first quarter. Miami blitzed them and OKC fought back? OKC might be in trouble though, Durant two early foukls and Lebron checking him well.

Brooks puts Thunder in 20 point hole by starting Perkins, Miami abuses that every single time. Maybe in about 5 years Brooks will stop.

I wonder how Miami is going to deal with the fact that Ray Allen and Battier who made a ton of big shots for them the last two years continue to look over the hill? Bosh has been taking a lot more 3's and making a good % as they just talked about but because they essentially have little low post scoring they really need the three point threat.
