Quite a few people are going to have to crater. Is it still true that Tiger
has never won a major from behind the pack?
THERE ARE ONLY 3 ahead of him that have major wins (and 2 of them can't seem to remember how they did it.)Believe me I would be betting if I thought one of the guys in front of him was solid enough to do this.Casey and AMES have got the game to do anything, but they haven't been solid in majors. The others really haven't shown the firepower to draw off.Seems like IMMELMAN is always in playoffs and wins close tournaments.I have never seen him just dominate a tournament, but maybe ha has.Doesn't really hit me as a major winner, but either did Zack J.

1 Trevor Immelman -8
2 Brandt Snedeker -7
T3 Ian Poulter -5
T3 Steve Flesch -5
T3 Phil Mickelson -5
T6 Paul Casey -4
T6 Stephen Ames -4
T8 Arron Oberholser -3
T8 Mike Weir -3
T8 Stewart Cink -3
GOOSEN-2
T11 Lee Westwood -2

I give my round of the day to Gary Player. For a 72 year old to get around that 7500 yard..glass-greened track in 78 strokes is science fiction...simply remarkable.

He needs a 66 or 67 today to have any kind of shot at all.

I think Phil will win but I would take Casey with that price. Has the game, was in the final couple of groups at Oakmont(even though it was a meltdown) the experience should help him.

Id be inclined to take Poulter for that price. Playing well and due to break through.

Truth be told...and as big a fan of Tiger that I am, I would love to see Trevor hold on. A good humble guy.

I'd take Steve Flesch at those odds.

This is where I come in to try to predict tournaments. After Thursday, and especially after Friday's round is the best time to bet golf.I have to say that the only guy I trust up there is still Tiger. I'm gunna guess the rest of the guys pretty much stay where they are,or fall back.Atleast he doesn't quit when he is struggling, and almost everyone else does.Think about it.If IMMELMAN GOES 72-74 ON THE WEEKEND,THEN TIGER CAN WIN IT WITH A 70 AND A 68.
So which is it?
So you bet Tiger?

I don't bet big to win big. So,I like to play atleast 10 or 15-1 stuff.I think I played Tiger once in my life, and he came 2nd in China.I realized I should of put it with something else(like a derby bet,) but I was too late.I do give Tiger a 50/50 chance of going by a bunch of chokes trying to shoot par rounds.Certainly not a sure thing, but I;ve seen Tiger look awful at times this year, and he simply becomes "new" the next day. You're right. He didn't come from behind all that much in previous years, but he has done it this year in Dubai, and somewhere else(Palmer's Tournament, I think.)I'M NOT KID'N.He has a 50/50 chance and was paying 4/1.It's never easy to play somebody that far back, but that's not just somebody. These others are zero inside ("compared to him.")
