I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt because LeBron tends to hang with douches (Clarett)

This will turn out to be a great deal for The Jets.

It's a wonder he didn't kill the poor guy, you know, since he has hands of stone!

Mixed feelings. I think he's overrated, drops a ton of passes, has major personal issues and I liked Stuckey and Trusnik.

On the other hand, I'd probably take Keyshawn back if he could still be a deep threat for this team.

Basically I'm withholding judgment.

Chuck, 35-6. 35-6.

Those two may be the key to the trade. Edwards for a 3rd and a 5th is a pretty good deal. If losing those two hurts the Jets though then coupled with the picks it is a lot more questionable. You have to figure a 3rd and 5th are the sort of guys that would be big time special teams contributers in the next couple years so they may be sacrificing a lot in the special teams department for the potential to upgrade on offense.

However, what is his contract status?
He's a free agent after the season. If there is no new labor deal he would be restricted, with a new labor deal he would be unrestricted.

Depends on what the draft picks are. At a 3rd and a 5th it will only hurt a little in the worst case. If they gave up a 2nd it would hurt a little more.

Good Trade as long as he doesn't get suspended and they re-sign him.
