My gut is telling me a different horse, but I am sticking with ourtickettohome.

Gut is saying Derouin... BUT I am sticking with my original picks IF you are counting this race Derbycat.

Well, I just noticed they did re-draw post positions so I'm not sure it's fair to count this race since people haven't had a chance to re-evaluate their picks... any feedback?

My thinking right now is to say that everyone who made picks gets a $2 credit to their contest account.

I'd vote that anyone whose pick hits the board should get money for it and anyone who made a pick but their pick either didn't enter this time or doesn't wind up hitting the board gets credited $2.

It's yours to call, but I don't see a redraw as bad as a late scratch.

This sounds very reasonable to me... it encourages those who make picks every time as well as those that may feel they were "cheated" by the post re-draw, yet still rewards the people who were able to pick the best horse.

I'm going with this idea... good call Sniper!

Now I better go check the entries and hope my pick is still in.

Default So if....

We made a pick, (Mr. Charlypotatoes in my case) he's got to hit the board at least for this to count, or it's a $2 refund?

Anyone who hits the board gets the payoff... all others that put in a pick gets $2.

Excellent choice by Paisjpq and eurobounce! Paisjpq has now shot to the lead although if eurobounce keeps picking them this way (2 for 2), he may take the lead at the turn and never look back! Can you say Secretariat by 31 leangths?!
