I agree with the pitching and defense theory, but making those moves wouldn't be as drastic as Mayo Smith putting Mickey Stanley at SS for the Tigers in the '68 Series (Ray Oyler their regular SS was hitting well below the Mendoza Line).

Wow, nice!

Love when people pull out old stats and moves...

It will be interesting to see what Francona does, as well as how he changes the pitching rotation...

Well I would rather the RedSox win it as I despise the entire state of Colorado.

But beyond that I just don't care.

I will give you the following for your closer, though:

Here's Jhonny,JoeBoo,Delucci,Nixon and Michaels..........and Cliff Lee.

Yea, it looks as if them days off did the Rockies no good. And Boston comes into this series absolutely sizzling. Now that Colorado has Beckett out of it's way, for now at least, it's interesting to see what will unfold these next two games.

Even if the rockies win the next two...game 5 is an aoutomatic loss. I see no way possible if the sox don't win it in Denver they go back home worse than a 3-2 lead. Dice-K and Lester may cause concern...but I really don't think the Red Sox are shaking in their boots over Josh Fogg and Aaron Cook who hasn't pitched in a real game in what...over 2 months?? Not sure if game 4 is the best place to go with him.
