No the rematch of these 2 teams in the AFC Championship will be this year's Super Bowl. But I'm also looking forward to game 1 between the 2 teams.

Jacksonville may have had one of the dumbest game plans I've ever seen last night. Everyone knows that the Colts D is undersized & built for speed. So what do the Jags can't wait to do? They throw, throw, throw. It wasn't until the opening drive of the second half that they ran. Which got them their only score. So how do they follow it up? From their own 3 yard line with an absolutely brutal QB, they can't wait to throw. And Freeney proceeds to sack that brutal backup QB for a safety.

The only reason they were able to score even that one time was cause of the big kickoff return giving them a short field. I doubt they could have run the ball the length of the field on the Colts the way Sanders was stepping up and stopping everything for no gain.

The Patriots will be brought back down to earth this week against the Skins. Mark it down folk.

The Colts will be the last undefeated team in the league. Their defense is as potent as Peyton is on third down. That's pretty damn potent. Bob Sanders flys around like he's the wicked witch from the west. Hands down, the best safety in football when healthy.

Jack Del Rio is a bad head coach. The pass play in the end zone with the undrafted backup QB that resulted in a safety should cost him his job.

Demond "Bob" Sanders played high school football against me.

I would scream at our QB when he'd cover me one and one. How in the hell can a QB not try and exploit such a great miss-match?

After all, I am a 6'2" dope on a message board right now - and he's the 5'7" best safety in the NFL right now.

Sanders was a great running back in high school. I have no idea how only Iowa wanted him of all the major colleges.

I hear ya Hoss, most people that I tout that to suggest I be put in a straight jacket and be fed meds. I just think that their secondary lines up well against that all star wr corps. If Gibbs was half smart, he'd attempt to run the ball down NE's throat, using all 3 backs (Betts, Portis, and Sellers), which in effect, would set up the play action to their speed ball receivers. I think, if and a big if, Washington can control the clock better than other teams have been doing against NE, this can be a tight ballgame that can go either way.

I'm probably trying to justify my train of thought, but its worth a shot. NE has to lose sometime, or do they? Skins "get up" for a good AFC team every year, why not NE this time around.

Go Birds. Take the fork out of us and bench Westy so that we get a better draft pick.

Hoss,
I'm glad that you think so. The Redskins offense is a joke. They should have lost that game. NE will win by 14 at least

Go Pats

NOw that neither team looked ahead to each other, this game on the 4th promises to be one for the ages. It just sucks that we're going to have to hear sooooo much about it on ESPN and whatnot all week. Congrats to the fans of both teams. You officially root for the two best teams, head and shoulders, in the league.

I'm not so much a Pats fan as I am a Moss fan.

It was a tough past two years......

I'm loyal to people and not orginizations.....

Though, really, I think it's fair to say Moss is more a God than a human.

Great avatar!! Did you happen to catch Brady appearing to apologize to Moss when he ran for a TD earlier, as opposed to throwing it to him. Randy was nice enough to give the "thumbs up", letting Brady off the hook. Are you that confident that the real Randy Moss (or the other Moss) won't show up at some point this season?
