Turns out, with that one post of his at Pricci's blog the other day, he removed all possibility of the former.

You need to put your pope avatar back up because if this was the master plan you have the patience of a saint.
It was pretty evident from the get go in which group he belonged.

I actually have little patience for tards.

Except for RHT. For some reason, I find him entertaining.

Maybe cause he means well. I dunno.

Being fairly close to the OTB programming, I can tell you NO ONE was singled out and called a moron. I remember a particular opinion by many at the time was called moronic but, no one was a moron. However, to incite a hair pulling, brasier snapping, nail scratching event is not the way to argue.
Take the high road as the rabbi has written.

He was never called a moron by me, which seems to be his pressing agenda, though he has provided plenty of fodder for that now. On the Monday after the Personal Ensign, on TV and on ATR, I said, "calls on the internet for Rachel Alexandra's immediate retirement based on her tiring late in the race are moronic. Is anyone suggesting Life at Ten immediately be retired?"

At that time a comment writer at his website told Pricci that I had called him a moron to which Pricci then wrote several insulting things directed at me. I thought that silly and petty, but never said a thing about it. Pricci has seen me 3-4 times since then and not said a word, but obviously he has been laboring under the weight of this imagined slight.

So three months later here is this deranged and stunningly incoherent missive making little sense about anything except how anyone that has any dissenting opinion regarding Zenyatta's immortality deserves excoriation. I won't dignify his lunacy with any further comment, but I will say it's one of the greatest compliments to my career thus far to be included in a grouping with Andy Serling and Steve Crist, as well as fellow SiriusXM broadcasters Bill Finley and Dave Johnson.

Just wanted to let you know I’m rolling in my grave reading your piece John. Thanks for further dragging down the sport’s journalistic integrity.

You got what you wanted though. This piece was written to incite hate and you’ve done it. Allowing some of these comments to stay up is a sad commentary on where you have gone in your career.

OK, so there are a bunch of really sick, classless individuals having their way with us.
It will take some time but all noxious, racist, sexist and vile comments will be closed.
It will just take some time, so please be patient.
Obviously, this is some movement to discredit this site.
My apologies to one and all. We’re very sorry, indeed.
