As for OBL, I have personally seen news clips from other countries, including Pakistan, where they discussed his death very casually, like everyone but us took it for granted.

Oddly enough, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, a pretty short time after talking about his death on TV, she was assassinated.

Back to the subject at hand, WH news conference just held provided some additional details...still a lot of questions regarding the Pakistan role in all of this, who knew what, will take time to sort that all out. Woman killed was bin Laden's wife apparently being used as a human shield to try and protect him. He was given the opportunity to surrender but refused. A lot of documents etc were seized and are currently under review. This was a gutsy call by the President and he considered all points of view and alternatives before giving the go ahead on this risky operation. It was again stressed that this is not a Democratic or Republican thing, this is an American venture. Now the search intensifies for other terrorist leaders.

1 thing is the same as always: Can't trust Muslims to allow even a horrible Muslim to be killed by a non-Muslim. President figured that out. He knows the difference between reality, and the way he wants reality to be. This is the pivot 1 makes when they really want something. They adapt to the truth. He faced the facts. He refused to tell Muslim "allies" about his plan to kill this despicable Muslim. Praise him for accepting reality.

Be fair, Scuds, the Muslim-American churches immediately came out and said they have no problem with it, and they are thrilled he's dead. Thousands of Muslims are celebrating this, too. Don't forget bin Laden killed many a Muslim, a few in this country but hundreds elsewhere. He was a terrorist against them, too. Bin Laden had no respect for Islam.

John Brennan, a chief counterterrorism adviser to President Barack Obama, ... says bin Laden was engaged in the firefight, but it was unclear if he got any shots off. He identified bin Laden as the combatant who used a woman as a human shield. She was the only woman killed in the operation. Brennan later said it was his understanding that the woman was one of bin Laden's wives.

Yea, thousands, but 25% (or so) of the world is Muslim. The majority aren't celebrating. They are saying he isn't dead, or that he's been dead etc. Any lie to get through the painful day. Many are trying to distract by bringing up Gadaffi's family being bombed. We know the drill. Now they try to latch on to the burial technique. The burial technique for scum? So sick. We are gunna remember that the great majority of Muslims aren't happy today. It says a lot about them. What you are describing above is, unfortunately, a case of a few good apples. Isn't that fair? Last night was awesome. I've had dreams of putting a bullet between bin laden's eyes. So glad an American did it. Congrats to the military, especially the Seals who pulled this off, along with the CIA, the men and women who have been tracking bin Laden for the past 15 years, and the President for making a very gutsy call to kill him in Pakistan.
