If I had prior knowledge of said Earthquake, I would be as well prepared as I could be. This is the point you are failing to see, you had the prior knowledge of what the industry was planning to do.

I'm sorry but they're not dying for me. They're dying for reasons that make me sick to my stomach.

3) What is the formula for determining value of a sire before a stud deal is done?

4) Since the reformed tax legislation in the 80's which reversed the previous practice of being able to write off all horse racing business losses along with all other business losses, has ownership increased or decreased in thoroughbred horses?
WTF does this have to do with Polytrack?

Good job Oracle. Change the subject to something you know. Very creative. So I will do the same.

Breeding

1. What specifically in the female probably infers more stamina to progeny than what the sire can give genetically?

2. How does crossing over increase diversity of breeding, and how does it make outcomes of breeding even more difficult to predict?

3. How many regulatory v. protein producing genes do we think there are in the throughbred genome?

4. Why is your major arguement for Pik plays completely illogical, when you have made win bets on horses?

Your funny but I still like you. You get backed into a corner, and change to your comfort zone. Very typical for someone that has a bit of an inferiority complex.

I was just pointing out that the first hot-blooded horses were those that ran on desert sand, not on grass or polytrack. Sure, we've selectively bred Thoroughbreds for increased speed throughout the decades. But, that doesn't not change the fact that the first horses ran on sand. Also, the species of Equus caballus is a lot more than 400 years old.

I stand firm against polytrack because I believe that there are better ways to handle the issue of breakdowns in racehorses. All polytrack does is cover up the REAL problems of racing like breeding, drugs, and crooked training and management methods.
No it was not. Cunninghams first post. Sorry.

And do people not question the reasons they are over there?
I hear: lies, propaganda, lack of due dilligence, overreacting, etc.
I think its the parallel he was calling to notice.
I've tangled with Joel a lot, but in this case he certainly wasn't trying to compare the importance of the situation.

The people of New Orelans knew that they were in a high-risk area for hurricanes but they belive their Governing body would protect them (with levees, evacs, etc.)....Did that ahppen? and Do you blame the people of south Louisiana for their own loss? If so, you are a moron, sir....

Oh, and I lived in New Orleans and had many friends and family hit hard by the storm and aftermath last August - so I think I can talk about it.....

Kasept brought this up before...Just imagine what KEE would be like, if they just fixed the configuration and not put down the Poly...They already have the Poly training track, so let them train on it and run on the main track...It's speculation, but maybe KEE would be more than just a MSW track and they would be more relevant in the BC and Triple Crown races...

LOL!!!
I'll take that to mean "I don't have the slightest clue, but I will continue to argue on about the economic side of the industry that I know absolutely nothing about"
The difference here is that I have never been arrogantor stupid enough to question your knowledge on science topics.
And as far as inferiority complexes go, you should see how angry you get when you can't argue something as intelligently as you argue your field, and show us so by often attempting to divert any argument into the scientific field where you feel more secure and knowledgable.

Yes. Lets not be involved in any change. Lets go back to giving diabetics insulin from cows so 10% of them can die from immune system reactions. To hell with the new stuff. Good God man, you are in your 30's... Change aint that bad sometimes.
