This is an odd complaint. Many teams had a full week off, including your Blazers. The Pacers are one of the three teams that opened with back-to-backs and they've had a cozy schedule so far with 5 more home games than road ones.

One of the three teams? There are like 10 that play again tonight.

You're right, there are ten. I looked at the wrong day. But I also don't see any preferential treatment being given to OKC or anyone for that matter.

Every team catches breaks and bad stretches over the season. Pretty sure the is OKCs first real break.

Spurs on the rodeo road trip. Haven't played at home since Feb 1. 9 in a row on the road. After game in Phoenix Friday they will have played 12 of last 14 on road.

And by comparison the Thunder have one 4 game road trip the entire season, compare that to other teams and see what you come up with. Most teams have 4, 5 and 6+ game road trips and multiple ones at that.

There is a reason for that though, the arena is basically the Thunder's. They don't get evicted for any long stretches. Even the AHL team plays across the street in the convention center. There are occasional one night events at the Peake, but not much more than that.

BIG TRADE!!!
Jason Terry and Reggie Evans for Marcus Thornton Essentially this doesn't have any playoff impact. Terry looks done and Evans cant really do anything but rebound a little and set picks. Thornton's game has cratered. Every non-tax paying team benefits as the Nets payroll and subsequent payroll tax increases as they add salary. |

I think this is a pretty good deal for the Nets and I can't understand at all what's in it for Sacto. Thornton is 26 and needs a fresh start; the dude can seriously fill it up when he's right. Terry is 36 and Evans is 33. Neither was going to be a significant contributor this season. It's not as if they're expiring deals either. The coach must've just hated Thornton.

Best signing they've made in years! He's been a regional tear jerker I guess you could say.

When they drafted McLemore the need for Thornton expired. When they traded for Gay it really made him worthless on that roster. Only the Nets, who he will cost like 11 million next season when you add in luxury tax payments, could absorb a guy like him. Given that the Russian guy apparently doesnt give a **** about money he was worth a flyer to become a scorer off the bench. |

Another good trade for the Warriors. Dangerous team. If Houston lands Rondo the west is in trouble.

Love and George putting on a show tonight. So many great players all over the NBA right now. There's at least 25 great players in the league right now.

I agree with you on Blake to Warriors. Of course now he will probably blow his knee out.

They don't have a chance of beating teams with defense in the playoffs. Their only hope is to try to outscore you. Thornton put up 42 on the Pacers this season. And losing Evans is addition by subtraction. |

I get that Terry has been terrible and Evans does nothing but Marcus Thornton has been a bad, far below average player this year. The only reason that the Nets are getting a pass for taking on a guy like this is that they are the only team that contracts just dont matter and he can be dumped next season's trade dealine as an expiring contract. If Marcus Thornton represents even a sliver of hope for Nets fans they are even further beaten down than Knicks fans. |
