Your Exhausto story was highly amusing!

Acta let Urns deliver the line up cards the other day....he fell down, too:

I may be grasping at straws here, but Grady hit a 2 out 2 run single to LEFT field in the 6th yesterday then led off the 9th with a ground out to SHORTSTOP. So his last two at bats he wasn't pull happy. From what I've seen he tries to hit every pitch out and either Ks or hits a weak grounder to 1st or 2nd on outside pitches.

I fear Asdrubal may be trying to become Grady. 6 Ks in his last 7 at bats. Neither one of those guys needs to be pull happy, I think Asdrubal may be getting infatuated with his power this year as Grady did at the same stage in their careers.

Very swell observation.

I said urns!!!

That is undoubtedly the most ridiculous win of the year for America's team.

ahhh....giant CC and little CC tonight. A super matchup...will be fun. I fear the reversal however. Tomlin got crushed by the Yankees then dominated them last night whereas Carrasco shut them out last time, and have to think the evil ones will adjust tonight. Does anyone know if Derek Jeter is playing?? The sports web sites aren't covering the man enough.

It appears perhaps another deadline trade steal for the Tribe will be called up to replace Carmona. Gonna go with Zach McCalister who we took from the Yankees for Urns last year. 8-3 ERA under 3 at Columbus. don't know much about him other than he is huge. We're good at those deals. With us contending there will be none of that this year but most of our good players come via that method...even for bad players like Da Rosa, Broussard, Ed Perez, Urns etc.

Upon further review team is considering starting Talbots on short rest Thursday since he stunk so bad and threw not many pitches Sunday, and going with old standby 6th starter Jean Gomez on Friday. I've seen old stand by enough the last two years, I'd rather see the new guy.

Talbots!!?

Phooey!

That really makes sense;he got killed so wonderfully last time he only threw a few pitches.

So we want him to throw more pitches!!?..sooner!?

And Jeter is back and playing lacklusterly. I am so happy to say.I do think CC,Jr. beats CC,Sr. tonight...really I do.

For all I rip on Talbots, upon closer inspection he hasn't really been too much of a problem. In 10 starts this year, he's given up 3 runs or less in 7 of them and a total of 13 runs in those 7 starts. In his other 3 starts he's given up 20 runs, so it's just when he's bad, he doesn't mess around, it's seriously bad. It's NASCAR crossing home plate. But in this day of diluted talent, even the best teams don't have good 5th starters. And when the talent wasn't as diluted, teams only used 4 starters. But, when your 5th starter gives you a good chance to win and keeps you in the game 70 percent of the time, that's fine. He's been much less of an issue for the team than that other starter you call Exhausto.

We need a McDowell and a Siebert to replace them.

My fear of the reversal was justified, little cc throwing batting practice. Although Dopey screwed him up by not turning the DP on the catcher....instead of a zero run 2nd, it became 5. little cc has carmona'd tonight. 53 pitches through 2. He's taking it beyond exahausto levels.

Oh great, more Dopey at 2nd. He may hit, but he is awful at 2nd base. Orlando at SS. The infield defense will be non-existent...oh well. We have Urns still.

HE's been really bad. 5 errors in minimal playing time and he made a bad throw on a DP turn to set up the barrage in the 2nd, not an error simply because he got a force.
