Let me guess, Saratoga will be the track at 5000 posts. I vote for Churchill as the final track.

5000 posts? Man, I better get to steppin, Churchill is my home track. I guess that is the pinnacle of N. American tracks. I cannot wait for Breeders Cup! This weekend is going to be the bomb! Fri, Sat, SUn, Mon, Tues, racing baby, 4 day weekend from work, beer, tequilla, oh wow, I hope I remember this.

Steve, I like to be Green Mountain Raceway, my gram hit a 5,000 triple up there in the mid 60's when they were running flat races long before it went to the dogs and now worst.

Hoff..

Green Mountain is in there somewhere!

Am surprised there have been so few remarks about the new additions.. Trying to promote responses like yours with the appearence of some long forgotten facilities..

I'll have to tell my Ak-Sar-Ben story at some point in fact... Was there in 1985.

Honest opinion on the new additions? Not a fan....To me, Derby Trail, while we use it for every day stuff, is about the Derby Trail......This site is going to be HOPPING for next years Triple Crown and the races before hand, probably right when Gulfstream and Santa Anita get started. I liked the title lines alot becuase it described a time line of the Derby Trail....Alot of people, especially new people, are going to have NO clue about some of those tracks you are putting up.....my opinion

Honu, from what Steve said, I'm assuming the upgrades are as automatic as they were with "weanling" to "yearling", etc. You'll probably get an automatic new "home track" when you hit 50 posts, or maybe 100 posts.

Loving the Sunshine Park I saw under someone's name. Don't forget the first track I ever attended, the beautiful Detroit Race Course.

heh heh, Neccos are my snack of choice when traveling. Good bang for the buck, calorie-wise. I usually compare the packs looking for the heaviest licorice and chocolate fractions.

DB..

You know that Necco offers an all-chocolate roll??? Hmmm...

Those that are unaware, "NECCO", ("New England Confectionary CO), is a tiny candy outfit that makes some great goofball items that those of us on the East Coast grew up with..

Besides the Necco Wafers, popularized during WWII in C-rations because they don't melt, Necco makes the incomparable "SKYBAR".. a ridiculous chocolate bar that has four pockets of fillings: Vanilla creme, Peanut creme; Fudge and Caramel...

They also own Havilland candies that make a WINTERGREEN MINT PATTY!!! They have Peppermint Patties, but these are WINTERGREEN!!
