When baltimore took the lead, I thought the game was over. Favre got them back down the field for the winning score. Give credit where it is due. He may very well play like crap for the rest of the year but the last two games he has played very well and so far this season he has played like an upper echelon QB. Is that not an accurate assessment? |

Chad Pennington can do what he has done this year? This is why you are an easy mark. You have a bad opinion and you stick with it even though there is nothing but overwhelming evidence to say that you are wrong. FAVRE SEASON STATS: 178 124 1,347 69.7 7.6 12 6.7 2 1.1 63 14 90 109.5 12 tds 2 ints 69.7 completion percentage. 6 and 0. Top five numbers...UPPER ECHELON. |

Favre is playing great, especially given everything, however it is a long season and he is playing behind an outstanding offensive line and he has the best running back in the league in his backfield. This makes most opposing defenses key on AP and they make Favre beat them, which is what he is doing so far. If a defensive gets pressure on him things will change. Favre would be back in MS in the hospital if he played behind the packers o-line. He is doing well so far, but if you go by numbers he is still not in the top 5 this year. Brady, Brees, Petyon Manning, Matt Schaub, and even Rodgers have better stats. Don't get me wrong he is playing outstanding for an old man, but he is not a top 5 QB in today's NFL. |

The Ravens put pressure on the QB. So do the niners. He did pretty darn well against them. According to Sniper, Green Bay was going to be Pittsburgh midwest with the addition of Dom Capers. How can he not be top 5 in the NFL in stats? He is top five in TD's thrown. He is top five in QB rating. He is top 5 in completion percentage. He has thrown but two interceptions. Wiphan...HOW ARE HIS STATS NOT TOP FIVE????????????????????????????????????????? |

If you really think that 15 qbs could do what favre is doing, then you will find no shortage of wagering partners because that is a bad opinion. I guess when Pittsburgh does what it does to every other QB in the league at home, favre will suck...until they win the division and go to the playoffs. |

P Manning Brees Brady E Manning Roethlisberger Schaub Orton Ryan E Manning Flacco Rivers Rodgers Palmer McNabb Cutler I'm not even counting Romo cause they played a primetime game and we all know he would have choked it away. I'd also contend that a healthy Chad Pennington would be 6-0 with the Vikings. |

mcNabb would be 4-2 at best. He would have NEVER made those comebacks against the Ravens and the 49ers. Never have, never will. He's the anti-Ryan Howard in the clutch. its also impossible for mcnabb to play 6 games in a row well. Did you watch how he played against the Raiders? No way he's 6-0 with the Vikings. I mean the loss wasnt totally McRibs fault, Andy Reid made HORRIBLE play calling, and our pass protection wasnt great, but mcRib couldnt hit the broad side of a barn. My opinion of him is still correct. I wish Kolb was our QB. At least the players seem to respect and rally around him.

No doubt Favre is a winner, has been his whole career; every bounce has been going the Viqueens way so far. Hopefully this will change soon. AP gets hurt, you will see a different Favre; you know the one who forces the ball places he shouldn't. If not, and Favre doesn't make mistakes and keeps his interceptions down, they will continue to win. He doesn't need to throw for 300+ yards. He needs to throw for 200 and little to no turnovers and they win. They are +11 on the turnover battle. This is why they are winning imo. BTW- Ahman Green and Rhodes worked out yesterday. Wake up call for Grant? |

Fine the Bills deserve McNabb. Lose 4 straight AFC championship games instead of 4 straight Superbowls. I wish McNabb had a heart like ANY of the Phillies. McNabb NEVER comes through at the end when they need him. Its just never gonna happen. If that is the kind of QB you want than feel free.

As much as it pains me, Favre has played great this year. They could easily be 4-2 though one of those wins was simply a great throw by him. It's still early however and he is 40 and his arm could fall off again like it did last year. I'm still trying to figure out why dala loves Favre and hates Manning.
