I've found that people who really don't have a problem with anybody being gay, doesn't bring it up - because it doesn't matter, and someones' sexual preferences never crosses their mind when discussing someone's politics.

ok. i just want to be sure i have your logic down.

he's a gaping puss. he's gay. but closeted. but everyone knows he's gay.

you brought up the allegation he was gay to prove he had no real backbone. or maybe to show that republicans can elect gays. if they're closeted. but not very good at it. closeting, that is.

I brought up the artcle cause I thought you and riot would accept him on that virtue alone similar to why Barney Frank is in the senate. Though he always is gay, gay, gay while Lindsay chooses his fits........

The Right in this country may be somewhat out of touch with mainstream political thought but so is the Left. I think the mainstream probably have more comtempt for the far-left than the far-right.
I'm not a big fan of either Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity but I would take them in a second over the champion of the Left. The champion of the left (Gore Vidal) is a certifiable lunatic.
Here is a recent interview with Gore Vidal. This guy is completely out of his mind. Most liberals I know think this guy is some kind of genius. I think anyone that reads this interview will realize what a lunatic this guy is.

Really...I thought it was eccentric at worse and brilliant at best. He's obviously past his prime, but there are great anectodes in the article and if you take him seriously, then you missed the point of the article. And since when is Gore Vidal the Champion of the Left? Everyone knows thats Bill Maher...

good link. no matter what it says. linking gore vidal to mainstream democrats is definitely going to be the same as hanging the radical views of rush and glenn on republicans.

i mean dem's are shaking in their boots worrying about what gore tells his audience. he'll have them heeling in a nanosecond.

that's the problem.
