I hope so but lets just hope Prez doesn't go in tomorrow (a month late) and declare mission accomplished. The cleanup- or failure to execute a plan to preemptively address it is my biggest problem with this disaster. It's too late for a lot of areas now, and by some accounts damage could have been mitigated to a degree. No excuse for that from anyone and if BP wasn't getting the job done, the government should have had the courage to step in. Complete failures all the way around.

Fixing oil disaster my responsibility, Obama says
President Barack Obama defensively and sometimes testily insisted on Thursday that his administration, not oil giant BP, was calling the shots in responding to the worst oil spill in the nation's history. "I take responsibility. It is my job to make sure this thing is shut down," Obama declared at a news conference in the East Room of the White House. The Gulf of Mexico oil spill dominated the hour-long session. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_obama

Talk is cheap when you haven't proceeded with any urgency for a crisis in the past month.

Q: The spill?
THE PRESIDENT: The spill. And it's not just me, by the way. When I woke this morning and I'm shaving and Malia knocks on my bathroom door and she peeks in her head and she says, "Did you plug the hole yet, Daddy?" Not to worry he is on the job! He should have said " Yes honey just go ask your Mommie"

I know he cares this is finally one of those bi-partisian moments. Like post 9-11 before the loons were out suspecting Bush flew the jets into the buildings via remote control. Chucks has been taken over by 'the tourists' for the summer. Tons of Germans for some reason.
