I can't wait to see her take on the world!
Here in NZ, there's a new girl on the scene - Silent Achiever, favourite to become the first filly to win the NZ Derby in 20 years after an AMAZING win today. http://www.theinformant.co.nz/racing...market-on-head |

Lightening Stakes -2/18
Looks to finally get some good competition this Saturday...
http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse...international/ "Moody has raced Black Caviar relatively sparingly but he is now looking at running her three Saturdays in a row with the Group 1 Futurity Stakes over 7f at Caulfield seven days after the Lightning." I know we are wanting to see her get tested, and I know he knows his mare very well, but 3 weeks in a row? |

I love that they do that still over there. It has to be so fantastic for the horses. I know they used to do it at Del Mar years ago.
I really like how they just seem to take their time with horses over there and let them relax and have fun. None of this "hurry up gotta get to the track before the break" stuff. Majority of horses here are luck to be out of their stalls for 1 1/2 hours before going back in. |

Black Caviar was incredible again today.
And, over on this side of the Tasman.... Quote:
Look how she eases up and pricks her ears short of the line. She's done that in all of her wins this year. |

Look at the smile on McDonald's face.. You can tell he's having a ball.
It has to be such an awesome feeling to be on a horse like that, knowing there is even more left in the tank. |

And she's now the 2012 NZ Derby winner - the first filly to win it in 19 years. And, once again, she did it so easily. She won by two and a half lengths with her ears pricked.

Black Caviar races April 28th
Starts back April 28 at Morphettville, in the Adelaide's $400,000 Group 1 Sportingbet Classic.
Here she is in her workout, or "jump out" as they like to call them over there. http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/a....aspx?id=59268 |

Black Caviar - Sat 5/12
Last start this Saturday and then off to England
Going for win #21! "The presence of Black Caviar is expected to sell out Morphettville as it did when she raced in the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes over 1200m for her 20th win on April 28th. The course has not seen crowds like it since 1956 when Queen Elizabeth II visited the racecourse according to local reports." http://www.racingandsports.com.au/ra...=Morphettville |

Should be a good one tonight. BTC Cup in QLD an hour before Caviar's race, Buffering scratched. I like Temple Of Boom.
