![]() Of course. The path of least resistance has been taken by many all time great horses in the past. I will list them below:

And though Fager beat him, he only hung about a head on Advocator, rather than dominating him . Nerud said he disliked the turf, so that may or may not be factored in . Prepared, sir ... |

Nothing like the past, and out of the safety zone only twice--I agree . As you know, yesterday's horses carried more, did more and tried more ... Wish it weren't so ... |

I know I dont walk and breath around horses like you do but you can take this as a fact and it aint no guess, she is not quite as good as last year. I suspect its the age, maybe its the feed, who the **** knows. I still say she jogs if all she has to beat is what ran last weekend, I have seen little that has impressed me this season.

I hope she either takes a huge step forward, runs a 120 BSF out of nowhere and beats the field by 8-10 lengths.....OR......runs the way she did on Saturday, (and most days) and finishes a well-beaten 5th. The one thing I really hope does NOT happen is that the race goes like this: 1) A speed battle develops early wiping out the frontrunners..... 2) Blame and QR really end up just not wanting 10f..... 3) Lookin at Lucky is not 100% or finds some of the traffic that he has in the past..... and so.....Zenyatta chugs up to win by a nose, running what should be a 95 BSF....and then gets hailed as the greatest athlete in the history of the universe. |
