You might try that - checking things out for yourself. Rather than depending upon other people to tell you what to think.

Here's something he may like less (or more, I don't know): Carrie Prejean is going to throw Sarah Palin out in the cold Alaskan snow as the "hot female empty-headed spokesperson" for the GOP.

who do you want me to quote? me? Letterman or writers knew who was in attendance at the game or the joke would have been written/said. He may have not written the joke but is responsible for his show. I guess I should have said child sex instead of rape to be politically correct with the new GOP

Full house is a funny term to use cause the house is the functional part of our government right now and I don't trust any of them. We have a senate that Golisano just bought and is now being battled in court, along with a Governor who has a lower approval rating than Elliott Spitzer right now. You thought you were corrupt in Illinois, we are dominating you in New York.

Absolutely. Which is why he went on TV last night and apologized, explaining there is no way in hell he would make a joke about child sex or rape (and in his many, many years on TV, he's never, ever done that - he's pretty mild)

When the joke was made, it was beyond obvious that the joke was about the daughter who was already made publically famous - by her own mother - for getting herself knocked up.

The Palins? Well, they know a chance to change the story and get some PR
when they see it.

This is ridiculous. The vast majority of the party does see him as a nut. There is no coverage of the regular people, just the extremists on both sides. Actually there is much more coverage of the extreme right than the extreme left, you make up your own mind on why this is.

It is ridiculous NOW.
You have a short memory.

Are you seriously telling me the Republicans
have not courted the Christian Right in the past?
Because if you are, you dont know your own party.

One's an addiction and one's a choice...not that I'm sure Dennis Miller et al hasn't bothered to differentiate

I figured that would be challenged, although I don't think many 16 year olds are truly "addicted" to sex like it was a drug, but maybe I'm wrong.

Doesn't one have to 'choose' to do drugs to develop an addiction?

There's always the exception I guess...

I'll drop out of this conversation...my point isn't the best..I should have just said that it's ok to call the President a Muslim terrorist supporter, but not ok to make a joke about a 16 year old who got knocked up and whose mother is a member of the Right Wing, Morally correct party..my bad

I could care less about the joke and I'm positive Letterman was referring to the 18year old.... Joking about a 14 yo like that would be wrong. Palins an idiot also.

And the people who say Obama is a Muslim, or not a US citizen, and those arguments are fucl<ing ridiculous and idiotic also.

I just wanted to take the chance to make a DrugS joke.
