PLAYERS STILL IN: 129
PLAYERS OUT: 6442
TOTAL PLAYERS: 6571

I've already changed my pick twice for tomorrow. Surprisingly hard to find a solid choice considering there are 4 races with 6 entries.

Right now I'm on Tiz Liberty in the 3rd, but that could easily change if there's a scratch down to 5 anywhere.

Meanwhile, I haven't quite cracked the meaningless Top 100 list. Sitting at #102 now.

Good luck, IK.

He is out of town and asked that I put his pick in for him for tomorrow.

He is going with #2 Salty Sarah in the 1st race.

Best of luck you two!

There are scratches in the 1st, 4th and 5th that caused me to take another look at those races.

I switched to Halfapondarosa in the 1st. I can't ignore the "sign" that I was humming the theme to Bonanza yesterday! That, and the 7 lbs taken off by the switch to E. Flores.

By picking a different horse in the same race as IK, I make it slightly less likely that both of us will advance, and slightly more likely that at least one of us will.

Talamo stopped riding the horse 50 yards out, (after trying hard to get something in the stretch). The horse was empty. I continue to be the only horseplayer in the world who cannot succeed with Baffert!

Keep it going Dunbar

Many thanks, Arletta

Cheers, IK

And your horse only missed 3rd by a nose, IK! Very nice effort in the contest. We hardly ever had the same pick, but each found our own way to the final 129. In fact, the 4 of us had very little pick overlap.

I think there will only be about 50 players left after today. 3 of the top 4 choices missed.

Baffert has knocked me out of most of them too... You'd think we'd learn

Thanks, IK, mmsc & Arletta. Much appreciated!

Today I'm on Talkstoomuch in the 1st, but could easily take a horse in the 4th if there's a scratch that I have time to notice!

(Talkstoomuch is an 8 yr old, which, I hope, is the reason they are offering her up at slightly less the claiming price than she last won at.)

Magical Eclipse in the 2nd is tempting, without even considering the fact that I'm a total solar eclipse nut.

Was surprised to see she was 3rd, but felt better when I saw she cleared 4th by over 7 lengths!

Everyone was on either Eden's Moon or Reneesgotzip yesterday, so no one was knocked out. Still 35 players. I think today's card will spread out the picks.

My early pick is Brown Is Beige in the 2nd. I'll post again if I change it.
