Hmmm... I know a boy from Hong Kong whojust might like that Magic...
He drew barrier 16 but ummm this is good news for him. Heard he looked really good going out for a spin with the Japanese invader, Tokai Trick. Good luck, HK Raider. At this point I thin I might just box Metal Bender, Faint Perfume and Mr. Medici and leave it at that. (Will of course be pleased if Monaco Consul or Red Ruler win but I just can't play them here...) Good luck everyone. Come home safe kids. |

(Sounded illiterate... you know what I mean!). * * * Okay Morty, from our good friends at the HKJC so here's hoping you see this guy soon. Brett Prebble permitted to ride in Australia 15/10/2010 Permission has been granted for Club Jockey Brett Prebble to be absent from Hong Kong in order to ride DRUNKEN SAILOR for Trainer Luca Cumani in the following races:- Race Date Racecourse Geelong Cup (G3) (Lead up race to below) Wednesday, 20 October Geelong Racecourse, Victoria Emirates Melbourne Cup (G1) Tuesday, 2 November Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne Jockey Prebble has informed that the Geelong Cup is intended to be the final lead up race prior to DRUNKEN SAILOR competing in the Emirates Melbourne Cup (Group 1). For the Geelong Cup, Jockey Prebble has advised that he intends to depart Hong Kong on 19 October 2010 and will return to Hong Kong on 21 October 2010. As such, he will not accept race riding engagements for the Happy Valley race meeting scheduled on Wednesday night, 20 October 2010. ... and as far as the other two go? Master O’Reilly (who won the 2007 Caulfield Cup) scratched due to colic so that's not exactly funny and Zabrasive is injured so again... no need to joke here. Okay? |

Looks like the sun is out there now, but it rained heavily during the first race and they had some hail just after it. The track is rated heavy, and no one is expecting it to get any better. 1:26.6 for the 1400 in the first race.

Horse doesn't like the track. The "market mover" wins. So it's gonna be one of those nights.
