Default Leslie Hunt - American Idol - I'm In Love

I just happened to flip over while she was on. That my friends is a woman I would love to know. Great natural complection, hair color is a perfect compliment to her facial features, great eyes, great legs, she can sing and seems to be very humble.

Hello Leslie, my name is Curt and I am a single bald 31 year old male from Columbus, would you like to go to Beulah Park with me?

Idol is my one guilty TV pleasure.

I thought there were some real good girls tonight, Leslie was one of them. I thought she was great.

I thought there were at least 6 that stood out...agree with the judges though, that last girl was in a league of her own, time will tell when she has to sing different types of songs but what a voice! First girl was very good, the former backup singer, the 17yo and the girl with the long curly hair...gonna be a good competition!

I agree, i thought it was one of the best collections of talent that they have put together yet. I had it about the same, approx six standouts, and I might add most of them seem to be compelling from a personal standpoint. for example not stuck on themselves or pretentious. The last gal, wow did she belt out that number?

Yeah, if I'm rooting for anyone from the heart it would be her and the girl who was a backup singer...she obviously doubts herself but there is no need, she can sing! Both seem as real as folks can get!

Thats exactly the kind I root for, its what I like about the show. The two you mentioned seem very genuine and for some reason don't realize how good they are. Very grounded.

I also like some of the unassuming jobs that some of them have, like bank teller, or dog-walker. I like to pull for the little guy or gal, a rages to riches type of story.

I thought your girl was kinda cute, but when she started to dance I thought she was having a seizure. She just seemed to be a bit of a dorky dancer. (kind of Elaine like from Sienfeld). As far as the rest of the show goes, it's the 5 black girls and then there's everyone else. They should keep the five and send everyone else home, because the rest of them suck! It's not even close!

I liked the same ones as you Somer. But I did like Leslie. I think she has a very nice unique voice.

ok, truth time... How many of you voted?

Sorry Pillow, but your girl needs to go home.

It is kinda sucky that six of the girls are going to go home when it really should be more of the boys going home. Just after watching the boys and the girls perform, the girls are WAY more talented than the boys. Randy was right when he said he would only keep four of the boys.

My top girls are: Lakisha; the back up singer; Jordin (17 yr old); and Leslie.

Top guys are: Beat box boy; Mop head Chris; and the other Chris.

Yeah she's probably gone. Call me crazy but the last singer they were raving over wasn't that great. Plus she's not anything to look at and there has already been Fantasia to fill the single mother role.

I'm just not impressed with this years group. Might be time to pull the plug on the show before it jumps every shark on earth.

This season started off so strangely.

The guys were awful.

Blake was good. Phil was good for the second half of his song, but without a doubt, WORST OF THE NIGHT on the first half of his song, all warbly and way off-key. It pains me to say, but I thought A.J. did a fine job the other night as well, as I really want to not like him because I don't think he's very good.

Those three were the only ones worth mentioning, the others were either bad, uninspiring, forgettable, or very bad.

The girls, sadly I didn't get to see them all because my stupid cable kept going in and out.

Lakeisha is obviously the girl to beat, and she has been since the auditions. I've taken a liking to Jordin from her very first audition and she's my sentimental favorite from day one and I hope she does well. I only saw her on the recap last night but she looked like she was having a good night. Stephanie was good too, especially kicking things off. Melinda seems to be one of the top 4 competitors of either sex. Gina could be the sleeper in here. Great shot.

Antonella is a joke. It was her idiot best friend who I blame for Bailey Brown going home during Hollywood week because they wouldn't let her sing her part with them, and then she forgot her words during the performance.

I have a creepily photographic memory for stuff like Idol. It is scary, but I love it.

Top 5 after week 1:
1.) Lakeisha
2.) Blake
3.) Melinda
4.) Jordin
5.) Stephanie.

I think your analysis is spot on . I do think Sabrina is #5. I didn't like the song but the girl showed she can sing. I also think that the jury is still out on the guys, but it doesn't really matter because the best guy couldn't hold a candle to the fifth ranked girl. They should keep the five ladies and jettison everyone else. I also think the this has been and is shaping up to be the worst season ever. The only thing that could save it is if the top 4 -5 girls do make it and battle to the end. That's pretty unlikely, because America will screw it up just like last year when Chris got kicked off early. He was the best by far and should have been a run away winner.

Oh and by the way, as for the title of this thread -- Leslie is awful.

I was shocked and a little mad that she even got this far. She's not very good and she won't last too long unless she had a dramatic turnaround and buys some talent somewhere.
