![]() Article in the Courier Journal.
http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/...NESS/606230356 Terry seems like a good man, I had the pleasure of meeting him. I honestly think they should get rid of Ellis. They should keep racing at Churchill all summer. |

![]() I find it highly unlikely they would race at Churchill through the summer unless they significantly reduced the purse structure.
As for Terry ( it's Meyocks by the way ) leading a group to buy Ellis....I'll take Elvis resurfacing as slightly more likely. What a game. |

![]() Actually! Since I live in Evansville and not in Louisville-Lexington area. What CD should do is change the dirt track and make it into a 2nd turf track. Open Racing for 2 weeks. Just like Kentucky Downs. Make it last 2 weeks in August. Have Churchill go to August. Come in town for the 2 weeks and then off to Keeneland. Then the rest of the year, make it a training center. Need to update the stalls for it though. With a few new barns coming in already, it could establish itself that already. Then simulcasting will be there all year long for patrons.
I have other ideas. Like a nice restaurant would work for one with better food.
